Job Summary:

Bin Arbaid Trading & Contracting Co. W.L.L. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PTW Supervisor to join our team. As a PTW Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the permit to work process on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve all PTW applications and associated documentation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor PTW compliance and identify any potential hazards or risks
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on the PTW process and requirements
  • Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient PTW operations
  • Maintain accurate records of all PTW activities, including permits issued, permits closed, and any incidents or accidents
  • Conduct investigations into any PTW-related incidents or accidents and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to PTW
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the PTW process

Requirements:

  • Certification in PTW management or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
  • Experience with PTW software or systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physically fit and able to work in a demanding and potentially hazardous environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PTW supervision or a similar role in the construction or industrial sector
