Snaphunt Pte Ltd is a prominent provider of engineered products and services to the energy sector, focusing on various key disciplines including rotating equipment, electrical, instrumentation, drilling, and static equipment.

We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer who will provide technical support and expertise on our products and solutions. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to understand client needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and ensuring that our solutions meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Estimation for Stahl Products :
    1. Ensure quotes related to local assembly scope of supply are submitted before the bid closing date, maintaining a detailed register in an Excel sheet.
    2. Review costing sheets and propose cost-effective estimation approaches based on feedback from sales and customers.
    3. Maintain organized records of quotes by project, including quote details, pricing, and drawings for each revision, stored systematically in dedicated folders.
  2. Project Cost :
    1. Regularly update and maintain costing sheets, comparing estimated costs with actual project execution costs, and report changes or savings to the manager monthly.
    2. Submit variation reports within two weeks of receiving revised drawing approvals.
    3. Release production orders and ensure all necessary materials are provided for assembly.
  3. Delivery :
    1. Maintain a project-specific tracking sheet for committed deliveries, updating it weekly and reporting to the manager biweekly.
    2. Ensure milestone stage invoices are raised in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
    3. Record items in the ERP system based on the purchase order within one week of issuing the order number.
    4. Close delivered items in the ERP system promptly to facilitate the issuance of delivery notes.
  4. Responsibilities :
    1. Schedule and coordinate meetings with production teams and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
    2. Communicate technical issues and delivery delays to customers promptly via email.
    3. Prepare and update a weekly procurement status report in Excel.
    4. Update the project schedule weekly based on real-time scenarios.
    5. Maintain punctuality and consistency in attendance, meetings, and task completion.
    6. Organize and maintain project records, including production drawings, job cards, and routine test reports.
    7. Address customer complaints promptly and ensure timely resolution and closure.
    8. Keep comprehensive records of projects, designs, inventory, purchases, inspections, and testing in job order folders and hard copies, adhering to quality standards.
    9. Establish clear and professional communication with clients to address clarifications and gather feedback.
    10. Organize and save all client correspondence in a dedicated folder for easy reference.
  5. QHSE Responsibilities :
    1. To ensure FAT invitation includes basic safety requirements for visitors.
    2. To ensure all HSE guidelines are followed before entering workshop.
  6. Job-Specific Education & Certification :
    1. An Electrical background with the ability to quickly adapt to estimation software and project management tools.
    2. Demonstrated commitment to putting in extra effort to learn and resolve product-related issues effectively.
    3. Expertise in CAS Software.
    4. Proficient in Project Costing and Management.
    5. Experienced in ERP Systems (Business Centre).
    6. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF Editing.
    7. Skilled in Technical Documentation and Compliance Management.
  7. Experience :
    1. At least 2 years of professional experience required.
