Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Senior NDT Specialist to lead our Non-Destructive Testing program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in relevant position, and field experience is an advantage.
  • A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Material Science or its equivalent.
  • Responsible for managing and establishing NDT Procedures, methods, techniques and calibration processes and systems particularly in relation to material & weld integrity.
  • Ensure that the job is completed in accordance with client & class requirements.
  • Develop and approve NDT procedures, plans, written practices, and NDT techniques.
  • Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and customer requirements related to NDT inspection to meet project compliance.
  • Manage the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) program in the yard to ensure that NDT Supervisors/Technicians evaluate the quality of material, components, and systems correctly.
  • Ensure timely review and errorless report submission.
  • Train and mentor Level II Supervisors / Technicians in current methods and new technology.
  • Perform site assessments and NDT audits. Monitor and report the repair rate for each project.
  • Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing & wellness programs, and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others to foster a culture of best practice.
Requirements
