Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join our team at lxbfYeaa. As an Electrical Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for the commissioning and start-up of oil and gas processing and production facilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and commissioning experience on EPIC contracting companies. You will work closely with our operations and maintenance team to ensure seamless handover of facilities from construction to operational phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Involvement in project construction completion checks and walkthroughs, pre-commissioning, commissioning, PSSR, start-up activities, site acceptance tests, and performance tests as directed by lead/senior commissioning engineers and advice from respective discipline engineers.
  • Monitoring project scope normal operations until one month after successful performance test as directed by lead/senior commissioning engineers and advice from respective discipline engineers.
  • Supporting lead/senior commissioning engineers for completing operations readiness deliverables prior to OHC (operations handover certificate) as applicable and required.
  • Supporting, coordinating, and consulting respective discipline engineers to ensure respective discipline technical and project scope are holistically met during construction until normal operations.
Requirements:
  • Completion of secondary education followed by 3 years full-time technical training.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in construction, commissioning, and start-up of oil & gas processing and production facilities (onshore/offshore), preferably with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum eight (8) years in commissioning.
  • Experience in operations, maintenance, and projects' pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and hand-over activities.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant technical knowledge. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good IT and analytical skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
