Job Title: Teaching Science in the IB MYP

Job Description:

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Developing Critical Thinking: Encourage students to think critically and solve problems effectively through hands-on experiments, projects, and real-life applications.
  • Interdisciplinary Learning: Integrate science concepts with other subjects, highlighting the global relevance of scientific discoveries and their impact on society.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Use MYP formative and summative assessments, including criterion-based grading, to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Technology Integration: Effectively incorporate digital tools, simulations, and scientific technology to enhance learning experiences and prepare students for an increasingly technological world.
  • Student Engagement: Promote student engagement, curiosity, and a love for learning through interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
