Senior Airworthiness and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development and Planning Engineer to join our team at Qatar Airways. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous airworthiness and maintenance efficiency of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate technical documentation to assess its impact on fleet airworthiness, reliability, and safety.
- Recommend changes to our Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition to maintain regulatory compliance and improve department efficiency.
- Update our maintenance tracking system with new or amended AMPs to ensure full compliance.
- Analyze inspection programs and reliability data to propose changes and improve effectiveness.
- Verify open deferred items in the fleet and arrange for their correction with maintenance providers in a timely manner.
- Develop a long-term fleet maintenance plan to comply with approved Maintenance Program requirements and optimize fleet utilization.
- Review Service Bulletins and other modifications to evaluate their applicability and cost-benefit to the fleet.
- Control the issuance of Work Order Requests or Task Cards to Part 145 maintenance organizations to ensure compliance with required maintenance standards.
- Provide technical assistance to Part 145 contractors and follow up on maintenance work orders to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Control the ARC or CMR renewal process to safeguard fleet airworthiness.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in aviation maintenance and a proven track record of ensuring fleet airworthiness and maintenance efficiency. You will also need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
