Job Title: Waiter

At Raffles Doha, we are seeking a skilled and courteous Waiter to join our team. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grooming Standards: Maintain a high level of personal grooming and adhere to our hotel's dress code policy.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Exceed guest expectations by knowing their preferences and updating their profiles.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain detailed knowledge of our restaurant menu and daily specials at all times.
  • Beverage Service: Familiarize yourself with our beverage service, including glasses used and appropriate garnishes.
  • Financial Targets: Monitor and follow up on daily financial targets for your area/division.
  • Service Standards: Anticipate and meet guests' requirements at all times, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Service Stations: Ensure service stations are constantly cleared and re-stocked during service.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve and clear food and beverage items in a professional and unobtrusive manner.
  • Menu Presentation: Present menus in a proactive and engaging manner.
  • Accountability: Feel empowered and accountable within the workplace, taking ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Guest Feedback: Keep your manager updated on any guest feedback, ensuring it is documented in the Glitch Report.
  • HACCP and FIFO: Maintain HACCP and FIFO standards as required by the regional governing body.
  • Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with our Hotel Evacuation Policy in case of an emergency.
  • Training and Development: Attend all necessary briefings and training sessions as instructed by your manager.
  • Financial Procedures: Handle financial procedures according to guidelines set by the finance department.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential problems and anticipate guest needs, seeking assistance before service breakdown occurs.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform any duties and special projects as requested by management, whether in your own department or any other department in the hotel.
  • Issue Reporting: Properly report any issues and negative guest feedback on the Glitch system.
  • Care Program: Follow our care program at all times, reporting any issues through the system to maintenance.
