We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach in Doha, Qatar.

Job Summary

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, ensuring high-quality products and services, and maintaining profitable F&B operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to meet corporate quality standards
  • Developing and implementing menus, recipes, and portion control
  • Controlling food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with local health department sanitation laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with the Director of F&B to create and implement menus and promotions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2-year, 3-year, or 4-year culinary degree and at least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Previous supervisor responsibility and knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
