Chauffeur Representative

About the Role

As a Chauffeur Representative with Qatar Airways, you will be responsible for representing the company in a professional manner while transporting colleagues, documents, and packages to various locations. Your role will involve ensuring timely, safe, and courteous transportation, as well as maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport colleagues or documents/packages to various locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections to ensure reliable records of mileage and vehicle condition.

• Provide refreshments to Managers/Visitors during meetings, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail.

• Adhere to all safety requirements, including government regulations, to ensure a safe working environment.

• Maintain the service and appearance of the vehicle to meet acceptable standards, ensuring timely delivery and a positive company image.

• Assist in the coordination of delivery/pickup instructions and cater to departmental needs as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

• Support the Department in maintaining personal files by updating, classifying, and completing documentation within 24 hours from receipt, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Assist in the logistical planning and organizing of company/departmental events, both within and outside company premises, demonstrating organizational and administrative capabilities.

• Coordinate with external logistics providers to facilitate the transfer of inventory from external storage to internal storage, ensuring seamless operations and efficient logistics.

About You:

• High School Qualification with 2-3 years of experience in driving

• Holding a clean Qatar Light Vehicle driving license

• Command of English language

• Basic mechanical knowledge

• Flexible to work outside of working hours and/or during weekends and public holidays

• Demonstrating excellent organizational and administrative capabilities

• Ability to process and work with confidential information, self-manage assignments, and time management skills
