Chauffeur Representative

About the Role

You will be representing Qatar Airways as a professional chauffeur at various government offices, ministries, airlines, and embassies. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver and receive department-related documents while adhering to situational requirements and timeframes. You will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring documents with other departments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport colleagues or documents/packages to various locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

• Maintain accurate driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections. Ensure reliable records of mileage done by vehicle are maintained.

• Provide refreshments to managers/visitors during meetings.

• Adhere to all safety requirements, including government-set regulations, to ensure a safe working environment.

• Maintain the service and appearance of the vehicle to meet acceptable standards, ensuring timely delivery of services.

• Assist in following delivery/pickup instructions and cater to departmental needs as required.

• Support the department in maintaining personal files by updating, classifying, and completing documentation within 24 hours of receipt.

• Arrange and maintain storerooms containing training materials, stationery, and pantry items while ensuring general cleanliness of the area.

• Assist in logistical planning and organizing company/departmental events within and outside company premises.

• Coordinate with external logistics providers to facilitate transfer of inventory from external storage to internal storage as required.

• Perform other company duties related to your position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About You

• High School Qualification with 2-3 years of experience in driving

• Holding a clean Qatar Light Vehicle driving license

• Proficiency in English language

• Basic mechanical knowledge

• Flexibility to work outside of regular working hours and/or during weekends and public holidays

• Demonstrating excellent organizational and administrative capabilities

• Ability to process and work with confidential information, self-manage assignments, and time management skills
