Job Summary

The Accounts Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of our property's financial reporting. This involves managing daily cash and cheque collections, performing foreign currency exchanges, and preparing banking documents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash and cheque collections, reconciling collected amounts with system reports.
  • Perform foreign currency exchanges, checking and reconciling submissions and calculations from Front Office and POS.
  • Prepare banking documents, including cheques and cash collected.
  • Review and compile the General Cashier Report, formally reconciling daily collection/banking.
  • Maintain in-house funds at operational levels, ensuring timely reimbursement of cashier's paid-outs and conducting regular float counts.
  • Monitor hotel foreign exchange rates and update rates as per hotel policy.
  • Balance petty cash disbursements against petty cash float and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • E nsure the safekeeping of all cheques and cash received in custody.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and communication.
  • Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

About You

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
