About the Career Opportunity

Join us at Trace Systems Inc. as an Enterprise Network Administrator II and take on a wide range of challenges in the field of network administration and management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, overseeing, and guiding efforts to install, operate, maintain, administer, and manage Enterprise and AOC Weapons System network infrastructure and systems.

  • Managing Communications Security (COMSEC) Support as an alternate COMSEC custodian.

  • Providing Tier 2 technical support for complex network issues escalated by Tier 1 staff.

  • Managing client devices and networks, including adding and removing devices, managing access control systems, and configuring MAC address authentication.

  • Operating and maintaining call manager, implementing add, moves and changes, and managing DHCP reservations.

  • Updating and patching network equipment, firmware, and software to ensure configuration and cybersecurity compliance.

  • Administering network administrative accounts and access, operating and maintaining network monitoring and analysis tools, and detecting, analyzing, and resolving network problems.

  • Maintaining network performance, utilization, and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.

  • Evaluating current infrastructure, researching current technologies and solutions, and providing hardware/software upgrade recommendations to technical representatives.

  • Supporting the tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, and service level agreements renewals for network equipment and software.

  • Assisting with circuit actions, including preparing and coordinating requests for service, engineering, installing, testing, and accepting or removing circuits per Telecommunications Service Orders.

  • Setting up, tearing down, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining deployable communications suites.

  • Developing and submitting an Enterprise Networks Monthly Status Report.

  • Managing, guiding, and training other Network Administrators and support personnel to ensure effective delivery and operation of enterprise Network capabilities.
