Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning and Execution Coordinator to join our team at Precision Hire Solution. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and compliant performance of material and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimized inventory levels, minimizing supply shortages and overstocking, and ensuring that materials are properly stored and kitted to prevent damage.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with global fulfillment and transport teams to mitigate critical material supply issues and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain data and transaction integrity in our ERP system, following standard operating procedures and reflecting transactions accurately.
  • Transportation Management: Manage the dispatch and transport of unserviceable parts to GE Aerospace internal and external repair vendors.
  • Customs Clearance: Coordinate with service providers for engine transport and customs paperwork/clearance as necessary.
  • Cost Allocation: Coordinate with cross-team functions for correct material/transport cost allocation to shop visits.
  • Materials Management: Maintain the materials area with proper segregation and identification of parts/materials, adhering to the 5S concept.
  • Problem-Solving: Participate in assessments, read across, and PFMEAs to identify and understand sources of defects, and promptly escalate risks to leadership and work with the team on solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in LEAN events and apply learnings to daily activity, applying and improving upon standard work in the area of responsibility.
