We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeler - System Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro to analyze pressurized pipe networks.

You will perform simulations to assess system performance under various scenarios and identify potential issues. Your role will involve gathering, organizing, and validating data related to pipe networks, including flow rates, pressures, and material specifications.

The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and integrity of model data for effective analysis and reporting. You will also identify opportunities for system improvements and optimization, recommending design changes as needed.

In addition, you will collaborate with engineering teams to implement enhancements and validate their impact on system performance. Your duties will include preparing detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will document methodologies and maintain records of model configurations and analysis outcomes. Your close collaboration with other engineers and project managers will be essential in integrating hydraulic modeling with overall project goals.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of hydraulic principles and water distribution systems. Proficiency in InfoWorks WS Pro software is essential, and experience with GIS software and data integration is a plus.

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic modeling, specifically with pressurized pipe networks, is also necessary.

What We Offer
