Corporate Affairs Specialist

Job Summary
As a Corporate Affairs Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting good governance at Commercial Bank Management-level. Your responsibilities will include tracking Board Policies and Delegations of Authority, managing the approval process, and coordinating with Commercial Bank's Management Committees.
Key AccountabilitiesPolicies and DOAs
- Review and update Board policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the approval process for new and existing policies, ensuring timely completion and implementation.
Management Committee coordination
- Maintain and update the repository/booklet of Management Committee documentation, including Committee objectives, Terms of Reference, meeting frequency, membership, standard agenda, and operational items.
- Track key Management Committee data, including dates and numbers of meetings, attendance, and presentation packs.
- Assist the Management Governance Committee with an annual self-assessment exercise, reviewing guidelines, effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement.

- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
- Ability to interact and maintain interpersonal relations with senior internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and trust.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Good IT skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of best governance practices, including regulatory requirements.
Candidates should possess 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role in corporate governance, internal audit, or internal control functions in the banking industry, along with a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or law.
