About the Role

The Assistant Government Relations Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with various ministries, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the renewal of official documents.

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key ministries.
  2. Ensure compliance with local regulations and update the Government Relations Department accordingly.
  3. Support the renewal of official documents, including trade licenses and chamber of commerce registrations.
  4. Process and attest related documents.
  5. Update director information on the company's legal documents.
  6. Support employee visa sponsorship, QID renewals, and other employment-related tasks.
  7. Issue health certificates for staff members.
  8. Deliver correspondence to stakeholders, including governmental agencies and private sector entities.
  9. Maintain accurate records of ministry interactions and procedural updates.
  10. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned by the Supervisor.
  11. Resolve customer complaints filed at the Consumer Protection Authority.

Key Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Languages: Arabic and English.
  3. Qatar driver's license is mandatory.
