We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Naufar. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments and psychological treatment interventions for patients with emotional and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct specialist clinical psychological assessments and diagnosis for patients referred to the team.
  2. Develop and implement plans for the formal clinical psychological treatment and/or management of a psychological problem.
  3. Provide evidence-based interventions and evaluate treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models.
  4. Collaborate with other professionals contributing directly to patient formulation, diagnosis, and treatment plan.
  5. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology

Certification/Licensure:

  • Valid Primary license from the country of origin as a clinical psychologist/counselling psychologist/psychotherapist
  • Eligible for license from the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Up-to-date CPD in relevant clinical/counselling psychology areas

Experience:

  • 5 years in clinical psychology field out of 2 years relevant experience in Addiction or Substance Abuse Disorders
  • Multidisciplinary experience across the fields of mental and physical health
  • Previous experience in the area of personality disorders treatment and/or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Advanced residential patient and ambulatory care patient clinical skills
