Job Summary

The Total Rewards Lead has a key role within the HR and Total Rewards function with accountability for a wide range of compensation and benefits activities across the Asia Pacific region. This role supports the ongoing evaluation and administration of the company's regional compensation and benefit programs, bringing in-depth understanding of external best-practices and innovative trends to apply to the Total Rewards programs and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, support, and enhance the design and administration of the Asia Pacific region's compensation, incentive, equity, and benefit programs, including health and welfare plans and retirement plans that reflect the organization's total rewards philosophy.
  • Evaluate the company's competitive practices, position to market, and make recommendations to ensure that compensation and benefit plans are cost competitive and support the company's mission, values, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with both the business and local HR across the region to understand specific business needs and deliver comprehensive compensation and benefit solutions and processes.
  • Support the annual open enrollment process, annual merit increase, and bonus planning activities to ensure compliance with local and government legislation, the Company's policy, and budget for the Asia Pacific region.
  • Research or coordinate with appropriate resources to research alternatives for health, wellness, and retirement plans and benefit providers to recommend changes or updates to the company's existing benefits or policies.
  • Make recommendations for policies and activities to improve existing metrics, including changes to benefits, leave, and compensation offerings, based on metrics and analysis.
  • Conduct and participate in formal and informal Asia Pacific salary surveys, identify data needs, and design and conduct independent surveys.
  • Maintain salary structures based on market data analysis within the company's job structure, evaluate positions to determine placement to ensure internal and external equity.
  • Develop, maintain, and interpret policies and procedures related to compensation and benefit programs, assist Asia Pacific personnel in interpreting these policies.
  • Partner with HR staff across the region to ensure an understanding of salary administration, incentive, and equity programs, various benefit plans, and performance management through training programs and regular communications.
  • Support wider HR projects within Global Total Rewards, particularly in the area of process improvements.
