Key Responsibilities
  • Develop maintenance plans for heavy maintenance, light maintenance, and line maintenance in a cost-effective manner, considering TAT and burn rate.
  • Manage Deferred Defect planning and scheduling to ensure clearance within due dates.
  • Manage Trouble Shooting Recommendations planning and scheduling to ensure clearance as per defined priority.
  • Develop Shift Line Action Plans in agreement with Production & Supply Chain and execute them, maintaining constant liaison with Production for real-time adjustments.
  • Understand Aircraft Parking / Storage regulatory requirements and prepare Parking / Storage Plans accordingly.
  • Develop capacity plans and detailed manhour plans as per company rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Define work scopes and compile work packages for maintenance work on aircraft for in-house and outsourced maintenance, adhering to time lines as defined in the TPM.
  • Develop detailed modification plans for fleet-wide high-profile and critical modifications.
  • Develop hard time component staggering plans in coordination with Supply Chain to maintain optimal inventory for QR fleet, considering fleet entry / exit plans.
  • Develop and control Escape Slide Deployment Plans in accordance with approved AMP and as defined in TRAX.
  • Plan Base inputs (Light & Heavy checks) and perform constant review and adjustment to accommodate AOG situations, dock out extensions, aircraft delivery delays, and operational disruptions to maintain flight schedule integrity.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Production, Engineering Services, and Supply Chain for all modifications, inspections, and repairs on QR fleet to ensure availability of manpower, materials, tools, equipment, downtime, and necessary documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
  • Degree (B. Eng., BSc in Engineering discipline) or hold an ICAO type II License.
  • Demonstrate knowledge & understanding of EASA & QCAA regulations pertaining to Part-CAMO.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Task Deferment process and Maintenance Task Variation process.
  • Involvement in process improvement exercises within Planning Section.
  • General knowledge of Aircraft Systems.
  • General knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Environment constraints.
  • Good knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Data.
  • Knowledge of Part CAMO and Part-145 Regulations and Functions.
  • Ability to take correct decisions within relatively short periods, considering all constraints.
