Job Overview

This Senior Assurance Specialist role is a critical component of our quality management system, responsible for ensuring that all project-related quality assurance activities are completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering groups, PMT, procurement, vendor inspection, and customer to ensure customer specifications and relevant codes and standards requirements are integrated into the engineering and vendor data documents of supplied products.
  • Verify the completeness and correctness of vendor/supplier deliverables, including quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), manufacturing procedure specifications, weld procedures, heat treatment, and painting procedures.
  • Supervise QA engineers & associates to ensure the timely completion of project-related quality assurance activities.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Instrumentation/Civil or Diploma with additional 3 years experience.
  • 12+ years QA Engineer or related experience in Engineering and Procurement Quality Assurance, Materials.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Experience in Metallurgy, Welding Inspection.
  • Lead Auditor Qualifications (ISO 9001) —IRCA or equivalent.
  • Quality Audit & Project Quality Planning; ISO 17025 Lead Auditor, RCA, Six Sigma, Preferable technical qualifications ASNT/CSWIP/PCN.
