We are looking for an expert who can execute all phases of emergency pipeline repair lifecycle activities, including pipeline identification, criticality report assessment, advising clients on pipeline blowdown/depressurization/isolation, performing leak detection activity, establishing preliminary damage assessment and repair method selection, executing damage metrology survey and temporary leak containment repair execution, permanent repair execution, repair testing and acceptance, pre-commissioning and post-repair baseline inspection, assisting in re-commissioning and re-introduction of hydrocarbon into the pipeline system safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will execute all phases of emergency pipeline repair lifecycle activities.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and adequacy of resources for immediate intervention of any pipeline repair requirement.
  • They will support the preparation of CAPEX, OPEX, and Master Procurement Plan (MPP).

Requirements:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Subsea Engineering, or other similar disciplines relating to upstream oil and gas from a recognised university.
  • A minimum ten (10) years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards and Codes of Practice, Shell DEP and competence in the design, specification, repair, and selection of pipeline systems.
  • Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer with professional bodies of Engineers is desired.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good command of English; shall read, write, and speak fluent English.
