Job Summary

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting and Change Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the reporting and coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to gather necessary data and execute against the regulators' requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the timely completion of assigned Regulatory Reporting and Submissions.
  • Ensure the relevance of data and regular review of assigned returns.
  • Deliver assigned ad-hoc reports and requests within agreed timescales.
  • Analyze regulatory requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Investigate defects related to regulatory returns and ensure corrective changes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure necessary remediation for automated regulatory returns owned by the business is completed.
  • Act as a coordinator for regulatory change requests assigned to the Business.
  • Ensure compliance to the Governance Framework and Group standards and policies.
  • Assist in audit processes related to assigned reported data, providing necessary information and answering queries as required by the Risk Steward and Risk Owner.
  • Prepare high-level summaries of assigned regulatory developments and share them with the business on a periodic basis.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to generate, extract, and create reports.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in Qatar.
  • Exposure to an operations and control environment, such as audit or compliance, preferred.
  • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail, together with strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • The job holder must always act on and enforce the highest possible standards and principles across HSBC.
