Food and Beverage Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Four Seasons. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards and maintaining the highest level of quality in our food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Assistant Manager and Manager in training, supervising, and counseling staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of service and quality.
- Supervise the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met through all guest interactions.
- Ensure that checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift.
- Communicate effectively with staff and guests using a positive and clear speaking voice.
- Observe performance and encourage staff when necessary.
- Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
- Answer the telephone in a clear voice and coordinate and document reservations.
- Organize special events for the team, such as receptions, team-building activities, and parties.
- Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
- Give guidance towards improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the outlet on a daily basis.
- Work closely with the Assistant/Manager in monthly inventory of beverages, china ware, glasses, silverware, and linen.
- Assist in planning and setting up special events, such as Easter and Christmas.
- Ensure maintenance of equipment by calling for repair and training staff on proper use.
- Support the entire Food and Beverage operation, including supervising other areas if necessary.
- Previous experience of at least 2 years with a luxury hotel or resort.
- Passion for service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Working computer skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and Micros.
- Good personal and professional references.
