Job Purpose:
The post-award contract administration of a major oil and gas construction project requires an experienced Contract Management Specialist. This individual will be responsible for facilitating inputs and review from relevant stakeholders, evaluating and approving change management, monitoring contractor compliance, and maintaining registers for all contract matters.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responding to letters received and initiating new letters to facilitate inputs and review from relevant stakeholders (as applicable).
- Evaluating and approving the change management evaluation process, including drafting Change Orders.
- Monitoring EPC contractor's technical and commercial compliance with the EPC contract.
- Verifying EPC contractor's insurance and securities validity.
- Milestone verification for payments.
- Maintaining registers for all contract matters, e.g., letters, change management, insurances etc.
- Contributing to periodic project reports.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, quantity surveying or law is required for this position.
Knowledge And/or Experience:
This role demands a minimum of 10 years post award contract management experience for major oil and gas construction projects. A strong understanding of contract law principles is essential.
