Job Overview
At Madre Integrated Engineering, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Welding Inspector to lead our fabrication quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of welding quality in our new building projects.

About the Role

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in mechanical engineering and welding inspection. The chosen candidate will have at least 8 years of related experience, including 3 years in a lead position, and hold a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field.

In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves coordinating inspections, reporting on quality and delivery, and managing project teams to ensure adherence to the inspection and test plan.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the fabrication quality assurance team in ensuring the highest standards of welding quality in new building projects.
  2. Coordinate inspections, reporting, and quality management to meet project requirements.
  3. Manage project teams to ensure effective implementation of the inspection and test plan.

Requirements
  1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
  2. Minimum 8 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in a lead position.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Desirable Skills
  • Proficient in quality control processes and standards.
  • Offshore Structural / Piping experience is a must.
  • Experience in new building fabrication and installations as a QC engineer or above.
  • Experience in coordination, inspection, and reporting as per the Inspection & Test Plan.
