About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Signal Processing Validation Engineer to join our team at Google. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex system validation tests for our cutting-edge digital signal processing (DSP) technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans for DSP systems, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to identify and prioritize validation needs.
- Design and implement complex system-level tests, leveraging expertise in embedded operating systems, bare metal programming, and ARM architecture.
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration and validation of DSP systems.
- Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience with complex system debug, embedded operating systems, and bare metal programming.
- Experience executing tests on emulation platforms or FPGA and JTAG debuggers.
- Strong knowledge of ARM architecture, SoC system level, and DSP.
