To be successful, they must demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, providing exceptional customer service to healthcare colleagues and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia procedures.
  • Assist licensed anesthesia providers in various settings, performing duties under direct supervision and providing support for routine surgical cases.
  • Identify safety concerns in the age-related population and implement protective measures to ensure a safe environment.

The Anesthesia Technologist must possess knowledge and practice of clinical/technical skills consistent with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) Anesthesia Technologist Scope of Practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Anesthesia Technology or equivalent experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Regulatory knowledge and ability to interpret and apply standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
