About the Role:

The Senior Financial Operations Business Analyst is a pivotal member of our team at PPL Dynamics, responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of financial processes. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective financial strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate KPI reporting on a monthly basis, providing critical insights into vessel utilization and off-hire reports.
  • Generate revenue invoices for services rendered to clients, adhering to client protocols and finance regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of cost invoices, matching them with contract and daily vessel/project timesheets in coordination with the commercial team.
  • Process debit and credit notes as necessary, ensuring timely payment processing.
  • Liaise with procurement and finance teams to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Serve as a mediator between finance and suppliers for statement of accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Provide accruals to the accounts department on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare monthly closing reports, maintaining an aging report and statement of accounts for all customers.
  • Reconcile vessel utilization with accruals and maintain proper archiving of financial documents.
  • Follow up on payments with customers, ensuring timely collection of outstanding amounts.
  • Reconcile vessel meal sheets and consumables, monitoring OpEx, Project costs, and Capex variance for effective cost control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Oracle Fusion.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits.
