Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Strategic Equity Investment Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale equity portfolios and achieving performance targets.
Job Description- Main Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive equity investment strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide high-level direction and oversight for the portfolio management and fund management teams.
- Oversee the management of equity portfolios, including asset allocation, risk management, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and economic developments to inform investment decisions.
- Lead the development and management of equity funds, ensuring they meet performance targets and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to attract and retain investors and manage relationships with key clients.
- Manage and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation for team members.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of equity markets, including evaluating potential investment opportunities and risks.
- Make informed investment decisions and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment performance and fund activities to senior management and investors.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in investment management, with a significant focus on equity portfolio and fund management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale equity portfolios and achieving performance targets.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to drive team performance and collaboration.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Professional certification CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst Level 3) required.
- Experience managing equity portfolios or funds within the MENA region highly desirable.
The salary range for this position is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
