Job Summary

Carpenter

This role is responsible for performing a range of tasks to maintain and improve the waterpark facilities, including lock repair and replacement, and other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Interpret scale drawings and perform simple drawing detailing to support maintenance and improvement works.
  • Shape and prepare timber for various woodwork designs and furniture repairs, including dovetailing details.
  • Construct and install doors, frames, grounds, skirting, architrave, and other fitments to support the maintenance of waterpark facilities.
  • Repair and maintain frames in walls, doors, windows, gates, locks, and furniture to ensure the waterpark remains safe and functional.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor in planning and preparing modification and improvement works in the waterpark.

Requirements
  • Secondary / High school education.
  • Qualification in Trades Technician level, variety of engineering/maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills – ability to use BMS.
  • Good proficiency in the English language.
