Job Summary:

The Rosewood Doha Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the security department operation. This key role involves managing all aspects of security, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, associates, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess and report potential loss situations in the hotel to prevent accidental profit loss.
  • To investigate and record all thefts and criminal offenses in the hotel or affecting the hotel, reporting to the Security Manager and Assistant Security Manager.
  • To identify and remove any undesirables who may be detrimental to the hotel or its clients.
  • To supervise and apply the key control system for all rooms, departments, and master keys of the hotel.
  • To ensure the secure handling of all cash movements throughout the hotel.
  • To respond immediately to fire alarms and act according to policy and procedures regarding fire and exit alarms.
  • To comply with reasonable instructions from the Director of Security, Security Manager, and Assistant Security Manager.
  • To be familiar with anti-terrorist and bomb threat procedures and act as a leader in emergency situations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the training of members of the security department and other associates inside and outside the department.
  • To study professional publications to stay up-to-date on new developments, trends, and systems in the security field.
  • To ensure personal compliance with Health and Safety, Fire, and Hygiene regulations and that associates are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
  • To fill out daily logs and incident reports.
