Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments: Perform regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  3. Safety Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on safety practices, emergency response procedures, and proper use of equipment.
  4. Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes and recommend preventive measures.
  5. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry standards. Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and best practices.
  6. Safety Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  7. Emergency Response Planning: Develop and oversee emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and emergency drills.
  8. Contractor Management: Provide safety supervision for all contractors. Approve and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) applied by all contractors relevant with site activities.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
  10. Safety Equipment: Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  11. Collaboration: Work closely with management, employees, and external agencies to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
  2. NEBOSH, IOSH Certificate.
  3. 5 years' experience in occupational health and safety, environment and quality management, emergency, and risk assessment management.
  4. Excellent written and oral English skills.
  5. Computer Literacy.
