About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patriot System Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate and accurate information on all equipment is reported to program leadership and the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems
  • Ensure that all electronic repairs on location are affected with detailed system knowledge, the ability to use all of the hardware and software tools currently available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance
  • Monitor work performed by subordinates to ensure it meets or exceeds established quality standards
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an extreme environment

Qualifications:

  1. Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 14E/27X/34S/94S/916A/918D or an equivalent course of instruction on a similar electronic system conducted by the military or the system contractor
  2. Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree with 2 years of related experience or HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience
  3. Demonstrated 4 years of field maintenance experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verifications of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems using maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, BITE, tools, and available test equipment
  4. Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include system integration and checkout
  5. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
