Job Description

Tanqeeb is seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex military systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Development
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
    • Design and develop new capabilities across the lifecycle of the product, from initial release to ongoing development and support.
    • Develop and define technical solutions based on best systems engineering practices.
    • Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirements.
    • Work closely with software and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • System Requirements Specifications (SRS)
    • Translate customer needs and complex technical concepts into clear and unambiguous SRS.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.
    • Define requirements at the system level and develop system specifications.
    • Create and maintain detailed specification documents.
  • System Design
    • Conduct system analysis and design conceptual models.
    • Perform feasibility assessments and evaluate trade-offs.
    • Develop comprehensive system architectural descriptions.
    • Document system design decisions and rationale.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Defence Industry experience is a must.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in Systems Engineering or similar role within the Defense Domain.
  • Expertise in systems engineering standards, principles, applications, practices, and life cycle processes.
  • Proficiency in System/Subsystem requirements specification, design, development, integration, and validation.
  • Participated in large-scale defense projects.
  • Specialized in military solutions, applications, doctrines, and CONOPS.
  • Possess Command and Control, C4ISTAR, Unmanned Combat Systems, and air defense domain knowledge.
  • Possess general knowledge of military products, weapon systems, infrared/optical systems, RADARs, RF Receivers, Command Posts.
  • Experience in JIRA and requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS, R4J).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
