Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Improve Processes: Develop, improve, and maintain SME banking processes, procedures, and policies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage Service Performance: Manage the service performance of the Relationship Management section, ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Internal Projects: Conduct ongoing internal projects to strengthen the SME business at Qatar National Bank.
  • Reporting Requirements: Manage external and internal reporting requirements of SME Banking, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Servicing Capabilities: Oversee the development and maintenance of servicing capabilities within the unit and with other units.
  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure compliance and legal sign-off for all new policies and procedures.
  • Main Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for SME portfolio and reporting-related issues.
  • Process Embedding: Work with Operations and IT to embed required capabilities in processes and systems.
  • Performance Review: Review the performance of SME products and portfolio, identify opportunities, and create action plans to improve overall SME banking profitability.
  • Campaign Opportunities: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify campaign opportunities and implement these campaigns.
  • Business Cases: Prepare business cases for Compliance, Legal, and Central Bank approvals for campaigns and marketing activities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of SME Relationship Managers and Officers.
  • Performance Management: Design the overall performance management concept.
  • MIS Development: Develop and automate performance MIS.
  • KPIs: Develop KPIs to measure the performance of individuals within the SME business.
  • HR Liaison: Liaise with HR to ensure performance and reward are linked.
  • Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with SME Relationship Managers and Officers, offering performance-related feedback.
  • Branch Performance: Develop KPIs to measure the performance of each SME branch.
  • Product Performance: Develop KPIs to measure the performance of SME products and customer portfolio.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage SME portfolio performance and risk.
