About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Operations Control Center Officer to join our team at Qatar Airways. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our airport.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Parking Stand Allocation: Utilize the Gate Management System to allocate parking stands at HIA, ensuring compliance with safety restrictions and optimal traffic flow.
  2. Flight Data Processing: Process and validate flight data on operational days and the following day, updating the Airport Operational Database accordingly.
  3. Data Accuracy and Quality: Monitor data flow on AOCC systems to ensure accuracy and quality of data for all stakeholders and airport users.
  4. System Performance Monitoring: Monitor AOCC systems and interfaces to secure operation and activate contingency measures as needed.
  5. Electronic Display System Performance: Ensure accurate data display on the Electronics Visual Information Display System and staff information system for passenger traffic.
  6. Radar and Frequency Monitoring: Monitor approach radar, Advanced-Surface Movement Guidance & Control System Radar, VHF Aeronautical frequencies, and HIA updates to deliver accurate information to stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  2. Aviation Experience: Minimum 4 years of job-related experience required, with a background in airport/airline operations.
  3. Comparative Function Experience: Experience in a comparative function capacity within the aviation industry (aerodrome operations, ground handling, or airline environment).
