  • Coordinate all requests for electrical system inspections and coordinate the same with the relevant Project Team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Attend inspection witness and hold points as per the approved Quality Control Plan, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Report on the inspections to the QC Engineer Construction, providing accurate and timely information to support informed decision-making.
  • Follow up all Site non-conformities in area of responsibility, ensuring proper actions and documentation to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Carry out visual inspection of equipment, report on them, and assess their compliance with specified acceptance criteria, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Follow up the Mechanical Completion and verify and close punch items, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard.
  • Inspect Spares Parts and Special Tools and follow up preservation of Site, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Review EPCC Contractor Electrical QC personnel qualification and performance, approving all inspection and repair reports submitted by Contractor during Construction and Commissioning.
  • Ensure implementation of the Contract requirements in area of responsibility, reporting any deviation to the Project Director through the line responsible.
  • Monitor construction quality activities and assist and liaison with other PT members, as applicable, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Review all inspection and test records applicable to their discipline, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Conduct inspections as per RFI's and review QC reports, accepting or reporting any deviations through the QC Engineer Construction, where necessary.
  • Document and submit Lessons Learned in accordance with relevant PIM procedure, ensuring that valuable insights are captured and shared.
Your Profile
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience for Engineers and 7 years for Diploma holders in inspection of Electrical Systems in Oil & Gas industries or fabrication Company, showcasing a proven track record of success in electrical inspection and quality control.
  • Good knowledge of various in-service inspection practices, review of specifications, etc., ensuring a high level of expertise and competence in electrical inspection and quality control.
