About the Job

You will perform cost engineering functions including budget preparation, cost control, cost forecasting, and reporting. You will also work closely with the project team to identify areas for cost savings and develop strategies to achieve them.

A key responsibility of this role will be analyzing material purchase orders compared to budget and allocating proper budget heads based on cost code allocation for cost tracking. You will also prepare and maintain cost codes for existing and new material orders across the disciplines.

Additionally, you will monitor the status and actual cost for laborers, equipment, and sub-contractors. You will also prepare project cost reporting from the project team data for management's review on a monthly basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) and have proficiency in Autocad, Oracle, MS Office, Power BI, etc. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
