About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Room Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Room Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure that all rooms and residences are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering to our high standards and the IHG Way of Clean 5-S program.
  2. Guest Services: Provide exceptional guest service by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist guests with their needs, such as providing directions or amenities.
  3. Communication and Teamwork: Maintain open communication with your supervisor and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any issues promptly.
  4. Safety and Security: Follow established safety procedures at all times and wear protective equipment when necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Supply Management: Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste and ensuring that all areas of housekeeping are well-stocked.
  6. Lost and Found: Reunite lost items with their owners and log any lost and found property according to established procedures.
  7. Appearance and Attire: Maintain a professional appearance and wear your uniform with pride, representing IHG Hotels & Resorts in a positive and respectful manner.
  8. Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor or team leader to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and pushing/pulling heavy objects.
  • Literacy and Numeracy Skills: Possess basic literacy and numeracy skills, including reading, writing, and basic math.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests and the hotel.
