Honeywell UOP is a leading industry player that designs and implements innovative solutions to drive breakthroughs in the energy sector. We provide performance chemicals and materials, process technologies, and automation controls.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  1. Manage the UOP Service relationship with customers in the region.
  2. Build strong relationships with each customer's personnel across several levels of the organization.
  3. Become knowledgeable of each customer's refinery/plant configuration, processing goals, and strategies.
  4. Determine how UOP products and services might be applied to meet customers' goals.
  5. Collaborate and support Sales business to meet service financial targets.
  6. Oversee all customer service interactions with UOP and ensure necessary agreements are in place.
  7. Visit customers' sites regularly for in-depth discussions and consultation on current operations, process performance, and any issues relating to UOP technology transfer.
  8. Manage troubleshooting efforts for the assigned customer base with the help of UOP's Technical Service and other relevant departments.
  9. Support new unit start-up and catalyst/adsorbent reload activities, determining and coordinating work scope and schedule for UOP site support.
  10. Work closely with UOP Sales counterparts to share customer intelligence and develop specific strategies for future business.
  11. Promote the development of the UOP in-country service presence by supporting activities such as mentoring new locally hired engineers.
  12. Work with customers and legal to draft and finalize applicable service agreements.
  13. Assist in collection of receivables.
  14. Prepare meeting and activity reports and maintain customer account plans.
  15. Assist in preparation of and participate in UOP Regional Technical Symposia and Sales and Technology Exchange Meetings.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 15+ years' experience in Refining, Petrochemicals, or Gas Industries with exposure to technical roles and direct sales.
  • Ability to manage and influence others, collaborating effectively while driving results.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-business units to prioritize actions and resources.
  • Provide timely and concise information using clear oral and written communications to influence and negotiate effectively.
