Job Title: Materials Specialist

Applus+ is seeking a highly skilled Materials Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for our oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed BOMs for various project phases, adhering to project RSPL requirements.
  • Conduct thorough research on provided RSPL to validate materials and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical specifications.
  • Process creation or change of stock codes, functional locations, equipment numbers, BOM headers, and BOM parts through Master Data Governance (MDG).
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to gather information and ensure BOM accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of BOMs, including revisions and updates, and ensure systematic organization for easy retrieval.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify BOM accuracy and completeness, cross-checking against project specifications and reviewing vendor documentation.
  • Manage procurement of long-lead project materials, review and approve project materials reconciliation reports, and coordinate with QA/QC, warehouse, and contractors for material inspections.
