We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Hospitality and Food Services Supervisor to join our team at Qatar Airways. This role involves supervising the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and quality products.

About the Role

The Hospitality and Food Services Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of service team members and porters, coordinating activities, scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing work to ensure that all tasks are carried out in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all cleaning materials stocks, food management, weekly stock, and mark out report are properly documented and recorded in order to meet HCE (Health Conscious Establishment) checklist standards.
  • Monitor and address any issues in relation to stocks to maximize sales and maintain the appearance of the F&B outlets.
  • Assign proper staff deployment on a weekly basis to ensure the service sequence is maintained at high standards at all times.
  • Conduct cash spot-checks on a shift basis to ensure cash discrepancies of associates are monitored at all times.
  • Conduct shift training as per training plan, to ensure consistent high service standards are delivered and maintained at all times.
  • Monitor sales targets during the shift and motivate the staff to achieve the sales target.
  • Serve all meals and beverages as per standard to ensure the highest quality and consistency at all times. Order daily requisitions by following proper PAR stock and stock on hand to ensure all items are available at all times as per guest needs.
  • Reduce and minimize food wastage by doing proper ordering to ensure costs are controlled properly during the shift.
  • Check and monitor nearly expired products to ensure all have been rotated properly to all locations.
  • Control food management, including transfer in and transfer out of food items.
  • Conduct all cleaning activities within the outlet and Food and Beverage Facilities with the assistance of the Sanitation team to achieve great hygiene standards.
  • Perform other departmental duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
