Financial Cost Controller

At Veolia, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Cost Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and profitability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage all budgets, costs, and revenue projections in coordination with various departments to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting.
  • Cost Optimization: Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Accruals and Invoicing: Ensure timely and accurate management of accruals and verification of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, including IFRS 15 compliance.
  • Working Capital Management: Manage working capital requirements, cash, and accounting-related budgetary controls to ensure efficient financial management.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends that may impact resource costs and make recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Cost-Cutting Measures: Participate in the identification and implementation of cost-cutting measures to maintain a competitive edge.
