Job Title : Logistics and Inventory Specialist

Position Purpose :

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Inventory Specialist to join our team at Management Solutions International MSI. The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and materials in the warehouse.

Job Summary :

The Logistics and Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving and storing goods, issuing materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities :

Warehouse Operations & Management :

Oversee daily operations to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse.

  1. Implement a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory system and conduct regular audits.
  2. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
Inventory Management & Control :

Manage stock control systems, set stock levels, and perform regular stock checks.

  1. Monitor inventory levels and track KPIs to optimize warehouse operations.
  2. Rotate stock and manage disposal of surplus and expired inventory.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination :

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers for timely delivery of goods.

  1. Verify vendor documents and generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in SAP.
  2. Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure proper loading and transportation of materials.
Compliance & Risk Management :

Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

  1. Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize wear and tear on inventory.
  2. Conduct safety audits and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
Reporting & Administration :

Generate reports on inventory levels, performance metrics, and operations.

  1. Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and disposals.
  2. Issue items through SAP and perform administrative tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills :

Qualifications :

Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience :

At least 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role.

Certifications :

Certified Storekeeper (CSK), Certified Warehouse Manager (CWM), or Inventory Management Certification (IMC) is a plus.

Skills :

Strong coordination, time management, and diligence.

Skillset Required: Logistics, Time Management, Inventory Management, Visio, Compliance, Agile, Adaptability, Strategic Thinking, Documentation.
