Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Technical Banking Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of banking operations and experience in designing, developing, and maintaining core banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Development: Utilize .NET technologies (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#) to design and develop core banking applications supporting critical functions like customer accounts, payments, and loan processing.
2. Integration & API Management: Integrate core banking systems with internal applications (e.g., CRM, payment gateways) and third-party services via RESTful APIs and web services, ensuring seamless data exchange between core banking platforms and external systems while maintaining data integrity and performance.
3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2 / 3 support for core banking applications, resolving complex technical issues and minimizing downtime. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems and implement permanent fixes.
4. Compliance & Security: Ensure core banking systems comply with regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and internal security policies. Implement encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms to safeguard sensitive financial data.
5. Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work in Agile / Scrum teams to deliver projects on time, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and deployment processes.

Requirements

Qualification: Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in .NET development, with a focus on core banking systems or financial software.
• Proven experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server / Oracle.
• Familiarity with core banking platforms (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Flexcube) is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of banking operations (e.g., payments, compliance, ledger management) is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in .NET frameworks and modern development tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integration patterns.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements in banking.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
