About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valuations and Business Modelling Manager to join our team in Doha. As a key member of our Financial Advisory Services practice, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on complex financial and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth analyses and apply a logical and structured approach to translate key financial and commercial aspects of transactions into useful insights.
  • Interpret and synthesize data, exercising professional skepticism to challenge data and identify meaningful insights to develop recommendations that support clients' deal objectives.
  • Develop and implement work plans to meet objectives within established budget and timeline.
  • Oversee the quality of deliverables and build/maintain client relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Research and analyze industry and technical matters, using a data-driven approach to derive solutions.
  • Review and analyze historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets to identify risks or price-affecting considerations.
  • Understand the drivers of growth within an industry/sector and identify relevant trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions that merit discussion with the client.
  • Ensure that work meets quality assurance standards and that all relevant risks have been identified and addressed appropriately.
  • Own all areas of engagement management and risk management.
  • Provide valuation analyses for tax, financial reporting, or other regulatory compliance or management planning requirements.
  • Lead and coach a team to conduct valuation for financial reporting and tax purposes.
  • Generate independent, insightful valuations for financial reporting, tax, or other purposes.

Requirements
  • 8 years or more experience in financial consulting (Financial Advisory/Corporate Finance) or Investment Banking/Merchant Banking, preferably in Corporate Finance Department, with experience in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, financial modeling, and restructuring.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people and plan components of engagements, ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Recognized accounting qualification and/or CFA/CBV/CA certification preferred; otherwise, MBA or equivalent with emphasis on finance/financial planning or investment analysis.
  • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy, particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilinguals (Arabic & English) preferred.
