About the Position

This is a unique opportunity to join People Dynamics, an Integrated Human Resources Solutions Provider. We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect who can help us deliver the best HR solutions and practices to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design new features and improvements to existing systems using technical and functional expertise.
  • Analyze production databases to increase efficiency and minimize operating expenses.
  • Design, code, and test software independently or jointly with the team to guide the architecture of the entire social platform.
  • Provide high-level code reviews and oversee the development process from design to implementation.
  • Solve complex software and social engineering problems that span multiple disciplines and organizations.
  • Oversee a team of developers, designers, and scrum teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams working in system development, maintenance, hosting, and IT Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or any related field.
  • TOGAF OR Zachman framework experience or certificate.
  • Excellent software strategy analysis and design skills for secure and scalable multi-tier web applications, mobile, and tablet apps.
  • Extensive experience with technology integration into SaaS or PaaS services, design, and implementation of OAuth in a service-oriented architecture.
  • Outstanding experience in hacking, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP packages.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in database design/architecture, data modeling with strong knowledge of RDBMSs and NoSQLs like Mongo, Couch, Cassandra, Redis, AMQP queuing systems, and Scala.
  • Deep understanding of security, performance, scalability, and tuning for high transactional databases, high availability configurations – Clustering, Replication, Mirroring, and Log Shipping.
  • Hands-on experience with scalability technologies like Memcached, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Solr, Lucene, Sphinx, Kafka, and understanding of web proxies and caching technologies like Varnish, Squid, and relative load balancing technologies.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and deployment automation tools like Puppet and Chef.
  • Understanding data analytics patterns from logs and other sources and adapt to them quickly and efficiently.
