About The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that drive business growth. They will also develop and maintain customer accounts to increase revenue streams and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategies
  2. Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive revenue growth
  3. Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients
  4. Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of professionalism
  5. Develop high-yield accounts according to sales segmentation
  6. Achieve sales targets set by the hotel
  7. Conduct sales calls to existing and prospective accounts
  8. Maintain sales activities and account information in the Sales Database
  9. Maintain a high profile within the travel industry and foster relationships with key accounts
  10. Prepare weekly/monthly reports as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing
  11. Participate in trade shows and other marketing events
  12. Track and report on company room night targets
  13. Attend sales meetings and review results with the DOSM

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in 5* hotel Sales & Marketing field preferred
  • GCC market knowledge preferred
  • Excellent upselling and technical skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Motivated and results-oriented team player
  • Highly proactive and determined individual
