Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Railway Systems Maintenance Expert to join our team at DG Jones and Partners. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Service Delivery team, you will be responsible for reviewing, updating, and managing Employer Requirements, technical documentation, and performance regimes based on the adopted maintenance strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize O&M requirements and documentation.
  • Provide expert advice on the transition from Phase 1 to Phase 2 and long-term O&M delivery.
  • Ensure interoperability between new and existing projects and their impact on services.
  • Guide custodianship transfers, maintenance work policies, and specific equipment maintenance needs.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, up-to-date, and approved by relevant stakeholders.
  • Define and validate technical performance standards in line with ISO 5500x.
  • Engage with stakeholders and the market to integrate innovation and best practices into technical documentation.
  • Collaborate across departments and with technical experts to maintain accurate, standardized, and user-friendly documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Membership in a professional engineering association is desirable.
  • Over 15 years of experience in the rail industry, specifically in metro and tram systems.
  • Strong expertise in maintenance contract management with excellent communication skills, ideally within the railway sector.
  • Proven experience in Asset Management for railway operations.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance, construction, and design principles for metro systems.
  • Deep understanding of rail safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with rail technologies, including rolling stock, signaling, and communication systems.
