Key Responsibilities

You will lead a team of software engineers, including backend, QA, iOS, and Android engineers. Your role involves developing world-class software systems and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.

As a tech lead with a strong backend background, you will oversee the development process from design to deployment. You will have the opportunity to make high-impact contributions by building a hyper-scale delivery and logistic system used daily by thousands of users in Qatar.

  • Lead the design and development of complex systems.
  • Build a back-end platform including templates, libraries, code guides, etc.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure scalability.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting collaboration and productivity.
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end project delivery, from concept to deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Coordinate with product managers to define technical requirements and project timelines.
  • Manage technical risks and issues, providing solutions for project success.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across different engineering teams.
  • Analyze business metrics using analytics tools.
  • Create detailed technical documentation and specifications.
  • Handle incidents within the team's responsibility zone.
  • Organize regular team meetings, collect feedback, and propose improvements.
  • Ensure the team follows company processes and rules.
